Brio Italian Grille - Lyndhurst

I absolutely love Brio! We had an early birthday dinner for my husband last night and it was fantastic. It had been a while since I visited Brio after they left Crocker Park, so I was thrilled to find this location nearby. I can't wait to return! Our waiter, Shawn, made the experience even better—he was the best waiter we've ever had. We'll definitely ask to be seated at his table the next time we visit!

I never received any service during my visit. We were seated promptly, but after waiting for 20 minutes without anyone coming over, we decided to leave. I'm not even sure if there was a server assigned to our section.

We ordered our favorite dishes and enjoyed them once again. The service was attentive and great.

We had a reservation for Friday evening at 5. Of the 3 staff members working in the front of the restaurant, only the gentleman seemed knowledgeable about how to speak to customers entering the restaurant. The ladies weren’t asking if customers had reservations and didn’t inform us the restaurant was short staffed. It hadn’t dawned on them, one of them could be cleaning the tables for which people were waiting outside or that someone should always be at the booth. We figured dining at the bar would be quicker but it was not. The bar staff seemed busy and the drinks we ordered while waiting didn’t arrive until we asked the server to check on our drinks some 20 min later. In total, however waited 30 40 min for a table. The server was busy but maintained a smile and was polite. The wait time for the appetizers, dinner and dessert was decent considering the restaurant was short staffed. My only complaint was the server chatting laughing at the computer where checks are typed and printed. I actually stood up and waved to get her attention because we could see her there, doing more talking than typing. After being in the restaurant for 2 hours and 20 minutes, we were def ready to continue our evening. A manager was not walking around the restaurant. All things considered, we would def return.

Sean, our server was attentive, helpful and efficient. He always approached us with a great smile and conversation. He was awesome! The food was great, hit so tasteful. I wish that I was more hungry and ordered more from the menu. The crème brí»lée tasted homemade and was the best one we have ever eaten besides making it at home.
