Mad Hatter Tea Rooms - Lyndhurst

I had a wonderful dining experience at this restaurant! It's very affordable and has convenient parking nearby. The atmosphere is charming and intimate, beautifully furnished in harmony with the Alice in Wonderland theme. From the decor to the various memorabilia available for sale, everything feels cohesive and delightful. The staff is also very polite and attentive. Overall, I highly recommend this place!

Positive: beautifully made scones, wonderfully decorated themed tea room, friendly staff. Negative: it’s a small tea room, so there aren’t many seats available.

Very tasty and pleasant meal! every dish we ordered was wonderful (especially the dirty pommes! . the lemon cheese cake and the honey cheese cake are by far the best I ever had! it is worth it anyway, a bit further up the road.

Visited for lunch: bubble and squeak with bacon, Stilton and two poached eggs, and 'Shipwreck stew '. Both absolutely top-notch, delicious. Polite and attentive service. Good price and good location on the roof terrace. Very well worth walking the extra few steps up the High Street, just beyond the traffic lights. Highly recommended.

A lovely little tea room which I have visited several times. I had the all day breakfast, which I can honestly say was the best I had, had for a long time. Lovely staff quirky decor. Definitely worth a visit.
