We've been here twice, and both times were incredibly disappointing. We got pasta dishes the first time and a meat entree the second. The food was bland and overpriced, and the service was severely lacking. Our waiter wasn't rude, but he just didn't seem to be engaged with us or proud of the food he was serving. The location is nice enough, but the food is so far behind the vibes. The wine list is lovely, so if you're just going for a drink, it's a great choice. But if you want a nice Italian dinner, go elsewhere.
I'm surprised there aren't more great reviews of this place! My fiancé and I had a wonderful experience and have decided this is our favorite pizza in Lynchburg (I've been looking since I moved here two years ago). The special appetizer of chicken lemongrass dumplings were very good and an unexpected surprise. We loved that they brought out yummy knots (no garlic) with oil and butter even when only ordering pizzas. The pizzas were great and crispy. We often see pizzas that get soggy when there are toppings so this gained points in our book because we got the meat lovers and the alfredo pizza with sausage. We will definitely be back soon!
Milanos vibe is so classy and the clams linguine was the best I've ever had before! All of their cocktails look amazing, I tried the Blood and Sand which was divine. The service was wonderful and the staff seems so friendly!
Not a large serving for carry out! Taste good! Hopefully next time they serve more food!
