Lynchburg's Taste Of Philly

I had been wanting to try this restaurant for weeks and finally went yesterday. It was delicious! I highly recommend it! The cheesesteak and onion rings were yummy, and the cheesecake for dessert was excellent.

Without a doubt, Taste of Philly in Lynchburg serves the best Philly cheesesteak around. The staff were friendly and the food was exceptional. My wife and I have been searching for a cheesesteak sandwich that rivals our favorite sub shop in Maryland, and Taste of Philly exceeded our expectations. We will definitely be returning for more.

The service was excellent and the prices were reasonable. The cheesesteaks tasted just like home on a roll. The roll really made the cheesesteak. The history of this restaurant is heartwarming. And don't even get me started on the desserts! This is a must-visit spot for friendly service and delicious food!

We have always loved the taste of philly. they are just the best in the environment, but we didn't have it in at least one year. Today we had 3 sick kids and I just didn't feel like cooking. after feeding the children decided to order the adult, the taste of philly. it was as good as we remember if not better and they have delivery, which means that it will not be another year! also service and delivery was amazing. phillys were so hot that it was like we just came in and ordered them!

It's a pop and sons eatery with authentic Philly style subs. I had the chicken Philly cheese sub with onions and mayo and it was out of this world delicious! It's ran by a Philadelphia Native and his son's. It was very quaint and old school with nothing fancy but the food. They were very crowded and the owner was very nice and waited on us with a gorgeous smile. I would recommend this lil hole in the wall to anyone looking for a great Philly sub and great atmosphere... You won't be disappointed!!! BTW... They also sell burgers and fries.
