The water comes from local underground sources, which is the same water used for all Jack Daniel’s whiskey. 4. **Grain Preparation and Storage**: The finest local grains are ground and sorted. 5. **Barrel Storage**: The whiskey is stored in barrels until the distiller decides it's ready; they smell the barrels to determine this. 6. **Bottle Labeling**: The bottles are labeled by hand along the assembly line. This is truly a must-see when you’re in the area, and you'll also learn a lot about Jack Daniel and his legacy.
We had a fantastic time on our tour! The facility was clean and beautifully organized. The history of the place was fascinating. Not only did we learn how to make whisky, but we also got to see the process up close and even experience the aroma in the massive kettle. Our guide, Courtney, was wonderful! She was both informative and entertaining, making us feel like we were old friends. Her pride and passion for her work were clearly evident. It was the perfect way to spend the afternoon. I highly recommend it!
A must-visit! For me, it felt like a journey to Mecca, a pilgrimage that one should undertake at least once in a lifetime. My expectations were incredibly high, and I was not disappointed. There's plenty of merchandise available, both here and in their gift shop located in the city square. I highly recommend taking the full tour, as they guide you through every step of the production process, and you even get a sample at the end. Everyone here is friendly and excited to share the history of JD with you!
We had a great guide brandi Tuesday. she was great learned a lot about jack daniels
The bus ride over was relaxing and it gave us some time to see the sites and relax . Once we arrived, we were greeted with an attendant who gave us our tickets to enter. The tour really educates you on how whiskey is made and most importantly how JackDaniels came to be! The tour went through the entire grounds with so much to see! The tasting was great as we learned how to take it in and enjoy ! Sinatra was our favorite! Such an amazing story to share with others!
