Applebee's Grill - Lynchburg

Before I learned that they offer a free meal for veterans once a year, I was already impressed by the quality of their food and the friendliness of the staff. They go above and beyond to ensure that they exceed COVID protocols, which makes my wife and me feel safe. She especially loves their Asian chicken salad.

This restaurant is always a fantastic choice for lunch or dinner. Krista, our server, is outstanding—she consistently keeps our water glasses full and is attentive to our needs. She even suggested adding butter and sour cream to the garlic mashed potatoes, and it was an incredible addition. On a challenging workday, this experience always uplifts my spirits.

Jamie was our waitress, and she was fantastic! She takes excellent care of everyone in her section and always has a pleasant demeanor. She's a true people person, frequently checking on her customers to ensure everything is perfect and that they’re happy. She’s the main reason I keep coming back to this restaurant. SHE'S ABSOLUTELY A GEM! If you're in the area, definitely visit the Applebee's on Old Forest Rd and ask for her!

When our food arrived, we typically order the club sandwich, but what we received was quite pathetic. It was only a quarter of the sandwich we usually get, and it looked like a single piece of ham hastily folded and placed on half of the bread. We ended up sending the sandwich back and paid for the items we had consumed. We will definitely not be returning.
