What a great find. Booked for Sunday lunch. Had a lovely table for 4 by the bar. The staff were very good. The food was just amazing, the beef with all the trimmings was cooked to perfection. Then the puddings, poached pear was amazing as were all the others. Not cheap but worth every penny

Cozy and quaint local pub. Friendly and helpful staff. We visited in the evening so I didn't get to see the view. The dry-aged beef burger is the best I've ever had!!! The beef used was of the highest quality. The bacon on the burger was cooked perfectly (no chewy fat, just perfectly rendered), eye-rolling tasty, sweet and smokey. The shmear of bacon jam on the brioche bun....need I go on?! The truffle fries were hot, crisp and delicious. If you are looking to indulge your burger cravings, look no further!

We managed to squeeze in on Easter Sunday at lunchtime without a booking. Despite being exceptionally busy they offered us sandwiches which were lovely. It's a beautiful pub with a nice garden. I look forward to returning when they're not quite so busy.
