I ordered CAST RINDERROULADE to red wine sauce, colorful vegetables and homemade latency, but it wasn't red wine sauce! Steamed vegetables had no salt, Spätzle was not reduced water enough after cooking, so much water on the plate as sauce. Haxe meat was also too dry to eat. Salad buffet was good, but too expensive for tiny plates. Only beer was really nice. We understood why our friend recommended because he was a beer lover. But it doesn't make sense to eat there.
We were in place for two nights. And we had dinner. I would be hesitant to write a negative review, but while we went to the place that is determined to become customers again, I fear that this will not happen. I am fully aware that a "traditional" inn like Zuim Ochsen has to cope with costs on a different level than a large hotel (chain). So we were aware that it could be a bit overpriced. But it is good if there is an equal value that the customer receives (or at least: the value that the customer perceives).
We had a good meal here that we enjoyed. Consider when in the area, although the general atmosphere of the restaurant is not entirely replicated in the excitement of the foods
Das zweite Hotel der Fahrradtour und wieder ein nettes Hotel in zentraler Lage,Optimal gelegen mitten im Ort mit Biergarten zwischen Haupt- und Nebenhaus.Wir hatten das Zimmer im Nebenhaus und waren dadurch etwas weg von der doch viel befahrenen Hauptstraße.
Auf der Durchreise Richtung Bodensee sind wir zur Mittagspause in diesem Lokal eingekehrt. Man wird durch sehr freundliches Personal empfangen. Die Speisekarte beinhaltet sowohl für den kleinen, wie auch für den großen Hunger eine Vielzahl an Köstlichkeiten. Diese könnte man sicherlich hinreichend genießen wenn man in dem angeschlossenen Hotel seinen Urlaub verbringen wollte, was angesichts der guten Lage des Ortes und der angebotenen Arrangements sicher kein Fehler wäre.
