Amazing restaurant which is inside a cave, about a ten minute drive into the countryside from Lungern. The place itself looks quite spectacular and you really don't get a sense of the interiors from the exterior. The menu is all in German, so be prepared! Between the four of us we got a couple of the burger (pink buns! special, the fish and chips and a grilled monkfish entree. Everything was delicious, and reasonably priced by Swiss standards.
Imagine enjoying a delicious meal inside the mountain. The cantina caverna is a truly unique experience. We enjoyed the delicious lunch menu which workers from the local company were eating too. The food was delicious and the service too notch but the setting was what made the experience so unforgettable !
Very, very good, fine food, very friendly. I'll be back.
