The gumbo was delicious, the seafood was fresh, and the onion rings and corn fritters were a hit. The portions were huge, so make sure to bring your appetite. The prices were modest and you won't have to worry about breaking the bank. The service was friendly and efficient.
I absolutely adore the cuisine at this restaurant and the service is top-notch!
This charming fish restaurant is located in a rural setting and is definitely worth the trip. The catfish is always cooked perfectly and we love getting the platter for 2 which easily feeds my husband, our toddler, and myself with leftovers to spare at a very reasonable price. The restaurant also has a small play area for children with fun activities like a Connect Four game board, pig races, bean bag toss, and a fishing game. Our son always has a great time there. Not to mention, they offer free ice cream with your meal!
Tim M. had a wonderful dining experience at this restaurant. He enjoyed the fresh and delicious food, especially the two flavors of coleslaw and the hush puppies. The service was excellent, and he loved the atmosphere. The steak was particularly impressive, being flavorful and served hot. Tim was impressed by the fact that the restaurant is known for catfish, yet their steak was exceptional. He also appreciated the fact that kids could spin to win a prize, with his son winning cotton candy which made his night. Overall, Tim is looking forward to returning to this restaurant.
The service was below average, but the food was decent. The prices were typical for fried catfish. Overall, there isn't much to say about this place. I would recommend going to Cuevas instead.
