Hamlin Pizza Shack In Haml - Lufkin

Got the wings and small steak sub. Wings were awesome but the steak sub was very disappointing. It literally didn’t have any meat to talk about! Asked for pepper, onions, and bell peppers. It had 98% veggies then any meat! Won’t order sub again the picture don’t do it justice.

I moved away from Hamlin but just got another pizza last week from here man did I miss there pizza. Nothing like my favorite place

Stopped in to get a slice. Nobody at the counter. We waited and yelled into the back. Still nobody. So, my friend Went into the kitchen to see if we could get waited on. We Were accosted by a man who said we were lucky he didn't pull his gun on us. He was unruly and rude. We just wanted to get pizza. We left without buying anything. Use caution going into this business.

I wish the large pizza was pie sliced. We always forget to ask and end up with squares. Beyond that, excellent pizza.

Decor is a little dated, but still has character. Love the cheese and sauce on the pizza. Shack sauce for wings is one of a kind and a MUST TRY. Also, probably the best meat hot sauce you can find, if you like it with a kick.
