This unites both and is accordingly huge: at the bottom of the building there is the Marzipan shop with its seductors: from pure marzipan klassissch or Königsberger art to chocolate-coated delicacies with a certain something, e.g. marzipan bread with plum cinnamon, black forests circus, brat apple etc. We were here on World Women's Day, there was a discount for the ladies, but since my friend wanted to buy ER, he even wanted to pay the full price. If you pay your treasures, you can also take them here if you make a city tour (not even because you otherwise feed your treasures directly and get a voucher for a filter coffee. Of course, you should also climb up the stairs: above is the large, beautifully furnished cafe area with a nice weather that we unfortunately did not survive in the outdoor terrace. At the Tortentresen you go over the eyes, especially offer the wind bag! With various fillings, the whole size of the hand plate, we actually only took the coffee here when we were so tired. This has already been recommended to us in the other Speicerhcafe where we prefer other drinks. They also exist here, in my opinion, a little more expensive, also the ice cream and the normal cakes looked more beautiful in the other cargo of the warehouse café. But the coffee was really good and you can also sit here with correspondingly more space. In addition, the store makes the beautiful toilet action (which is probably only set? Corona?, so you can also use the cafe toilet as a non-visitor for free.

The Marzipan business moved from the Roggenhorst industrial area to the Untertrave a few years ago and has now opened 2 other branches nearby. Which marzipan is better, that of Mest, from the Marzipan store or from Niederegger, can be denied, although taste is now a personal individual story. We appreciate the store with its offer Gedeck Marzipan cake and coffee for € 5,50. Simply great and above all large pieces of cake, much bigger than the more expensive competition. And the terrace is really great. Self-service is okay. And next door there are not only Lübecker Marzipan, but also those from Königsberg. Yes Königsberg is no longer available, and what it says today, rather not. But the Marzipan tradition continues. And for the Nikolaus boots, always like the Marzipan of Mest.

We are regular customers here, but thanks to Corona we are no longer here. Since we are Lübecker, we can also enjoy coffee and pastries on the terrace in good weather. The other alternative for good marzipan would be Mest, but unfortunately no cafe. Niederegger is just something for Touris who believes there is only one overpriced) real Lübecker Marzipan. However, it always pulls us into the store, although we have the impression that the parts of the village were a little bigger, but still much bigger than in the competition.
