This family-owned company has been in existence since 1981 and is popular with both tourists and locals. the staff was friendly and welcome and very happy to discuss the various dishes. the calamari was delicious, but the actual star of the show for us was the paklava. we were so impressed by our dinner time that we went back the next day and enjoyed a common plate for lunch.
The gyros are the best I tried! best Greek food in Germany! we come back. we loved the oil they used in salad, so much we even bought a bottle to go home. there were even authentic Greek wines. with our meals just amazing.
The planning of a short holiday in lübeck also included the planning of a visit in the restaurant korfu. we had a few years back there and had good memories. we were not disappointed. we have decided to share a plate of different appetizers, and this was a fairly large part of good Greek specialties, and could go almost for a full meal. I was hungry enough to go for a main meal of huh, which was also very good. then we couldn't eat anymore, but a ouzo or two couldn't hurt. we had divided a bottle of kreta wine to the meal that was beautiful. the same wein is found in many supermarkets in Greece, but the wine card in the korfu restaurant had more and more expensive offers. the restaurant also offers a lot of wine, olive oil and other Greek products for sale, and we were tried to buy 2 bottles of limniona wine and a virgin olive oil to take home. the food is good, the service is good and in fact there is only one advice for visitors in lübeck: go greek!
Very nice Greek restaurant in lübeck. beautiful environment and the atmosphere is good. very friendly staff. eating is good and there is enough.
The servings are very generous, so you can really get a lot of food for not so much. The tzaziki, feta cheese and gyros were really good, on the other hand the lamb was too chewy.
