I was so excited to have a nice meal in Lubeck. We were sat at the most uncomfortable table in the restaurant next to the hostess while the place was empty. Our food took a really long time, again the only people in the restaurant. And both my husband's and I's meal was not good. We both had pasta and the gorgonzola sauce was very odd tasting.
Everything out of the kitchen looks fantastic. If I had it to do over again, I wouldn't have gotten the shrimp with a thick sauce, because it was a bit too distinctively spiced, but it was exquisitely prepared and presented, and made me want to try everything on the menu. Highest quality fare, done with style and panache. Incredible value, and if the weather cooperates the outdoor seats are very pleasant. I so want to go back.
Wonderful place! I sat outside since it was nice weather. I had the tortellini with broccoli in a walnut Gorgonzola sauce from the daily special menu, and it was so delicious... some of the best pasta I've ever had. The tortellini were so fresh and soft, and I loved the creamy sauce mixed with broccoli, spinach, tomato, and bacon. The service was friendly and efficient. I'm just sad I won't be able to eat here again before leaving Lübeck.
