Excellent kitchen and very friendly service!
Well, eating here is a bit of gambling: sometimes it's super, sometimes so lala. Bad food isn't going to be here. A racer is at any rate the pizza, carving or noodle days per dish you pay around 6 or 7 euros. In the summer you can even sit in the yard, but it has often happened that we have no more space. So booking is a good idea.
If it was only about the beautifully restored old building and the beautiful (beautiful outdoor terrace) in maudach, this would be one of my favorite spots in the opposite of ludwigshafen. at the end of the day, however, food counts and this is unfortunately not the luck of this place. if the owner nicola is really Italian and cook, he must have forgotten a lot of his school time. one of the most popular Italian dishes 'saltimbocca alla romana' with unappetiful forms? what the devil? in italy, a cook that would prepare such a dish would run risk of being shot on the street after leaving the restaurant! the pizza looked frozen out and tasted part, meat quality of the filet was under average (was it even a filet?) perhaps here the kitchen is pampered by the low expectations of the local clientele. if they love the Italian cuisine, they should not eat here! I'm sure I won't return.
