It's a bit remote, high in the Tuscan hills above the village of Coreglia Antelminelli, so an hour or so from Lucca. However, this means it's no tourist trap. We visited on a Saturday Friday whilst staying nearby and it was very busy on the Saturday with family parties. Da Nara obviously has a good reputation locally as there only a handful of houses nearby and the 10/15 minute drive up from Coreglia Antelminelli is somewhat tight and twisty. Excellent pizzas and the house red wine is great value at 4 euro a litre. There is an English menu and a couple of the staff do understand English. Overall : a traditional family run restaurant serving excellent food.
Not the best place for dinner. Cod with Polnta was okay, fried seafood was missing something. Beautiful atmosphere, eager and helpful staff. Go somewhere else.
Our family of eight had reservations last night. We arrived early and sit right away. The food was absolutely superb-Attizer, Entrees...
Hands down the best seafood spaghetti in Italy. We stumbled over this restaurant and I'm so glad we did. The bread was her pasta OMG anyway. Fresh...
Wild boar pasta was easy to play in the taste, although the rosmarin helped him counter. the salted cod was unfortunately not according to our taste. the service team could speak English well, which was a plus point for English-speaking tourists. we have skipped this dessert, so it cannot comment. the decoration was traditional and lightly quirky, tasteful. we were here a few years ago and decided to look back for nostalgic reasons.
