Taco Villa - Lubbock

I had to repeat myself several times while waiting for my drinks, and they ended up forgetting to give them to me. Additionally, my salads were placed sideways in the bag.

This is the second time I've had an issue with my burrito at this place! I ordered a simple burrito with extra cheese and red sauce, but there was way too much sauce on it. It's so messy that I can't even eat it. I'm really frustrated with this experience and I won't be coming back. Plus, the girl at the window was rude.

This restaurant seems to have a good reputation among others, but my experience was quite disappointing. The beef tacos, and I use the term loosely, were flavorless and had a texture reminiscent of some sort of paste. The presentation was akin to that of dog food. As for my side of rice, which cost $2, it was only the size of a dipping sauce cup—definitely not a great value. When compared to this establishment, Taco Bell feels like a five-star restaurant serving gourmet food. If this place is part of a franchise, someone is definitely missing the mark. The only positive aspect I noticed was that it was clean and seemed to attract an older crowd. I suppose that’s something notable?
