Something Different Grill-lubbock

I had a great first experience at this restaurant last Wednesday. I ordered the Teriyaki chicken with extra chicken and egg rolls and thoroughly enjoyed it. My nephew treated me to lunch, and we both found the restaurant to be clean and the food to be excellent. Keep up the good work!

First time there. I ordered the fiesta salad and received a very generous portion. Generous enough that I took half of it home for later. Very reasonably priced, and the wait staff is very friendly and attentive! I will definitely go back!

Honestly, we waited a long time to try this place, thinking it would be less than average, just another restaurant idea in the hub city that fizzles out after a year or so. I’ll be the first to admit we were wrong. First off, the service was exceptional. The staff was incredibly friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. The food came out quickly but very fresh. Secondly, the food was refreshingly good and “different”. The green chili “Johnny bites” were delicious; the zesty Thai chicken salad was delightful; and the custom spud hit the spot. Then having Dippin’ Dots was a nice bonus. We will be back soon to try all the other “different” items they have!

I enjoy the different baked potatoes like the green chili chicken baked potato, but there bowls have been kind of bland the last time I went. Still a great place to go for lunch, I just won't go out of my way to go. Nice place with nice folks. Worth a try if you haven't been.

First and foremost- the food is good. Salads aren't as big as I anticipated due to reviews and price, but filling nonetheless. The quality is subpar, but overall satisfying. My biggest complaint is the zucchini chips. This really can't be the correct portion size they give you for $6, right? Surely I was just skimmed here.
