Lone Star Oyster - Lubbock

The drink was excessively poured, almost like drinking straight from the bottle. I was ignored for at least 10 minutes before anyone even asked what I wanted to drink. I suppose it’s because I’m not a regular customer and have never been there before. The place wasn’t very busy, but it seemed the bartender was too preoccupied to attend to me.

I absolutely LOVE Zack and Alexa! They are the most fantastic bartenders and consistently provide excellent service to their customers.

I visited this restaurant for the first time on a Wednesday night after arriving in town. When I asked the bartender about the establishment, it seemed to provoke a regular patron who attempted to start a confrontation with me right away. I guess the stereotype about Texans holds true—lots of bravado but little substance. Perhaps this is just the kind of clientele that the place attracts. As for the restaurant and the wait staff, they’re just okay. It wasn’t as smoky as I expected, and there was no fishy smell at all. The wait staff mentioned that it tends to get quite busy and smoky on weekends. Overall, while the service was decent, the regular crowd left much to be desired.

Great atmosphere! I came for a drink after work, and o bar has not disappointed! cheap drinks, great eating. those and sidney really did it like home. 10/10
