Cancun Mexican - Lubbock

We visited the restaurant for lunch during opening hours. The salsa and the queen dish were both tasty. For drinks, we tried the piña and jamaica, and we definitely want to order those again. My partner had the stuffed poblano peppers with shredded chicken, while I enjoyed the chili colorado. We were both very pleased with our meals and left feeling satisfied. The atmosphere was perfect, the hostess was friendly, and our waitress was incredibly attentive.

Now, onto the appetizers: the tostada de ceviche is exceptional, and the queso fundido is also wonderful. For seafood, the mojarra is always a hit – they can’t go wrong with that! When it comes to grilled dishes, the carne asada is nicely portioned, and the Jalisco special is good too. And what can I say about the tacos? They’re simply fantastic! Our personal favorite at this restaurant is the molcajete; you absolutely have to order it! You won’t be disappointed. It includes a bit of everything: barbecued meat, chorizo, shrimp, cheese, cactus (yes, cactus is surprisingly good, so give it a try!), paprika, guacamole, jalapeño, rice, beef, and tortillas. It's quite a feast!

This is a beautiful Mexican restaurant. Alex was tending the bar and provided excellent service. The food was fresh and flavorful. The white cheese dip and salsa were delicious! I tried the molcajete, which included shrimp, fajitas, and grilled cactus—it definitely gets a thumbs up!

Wow, the authentic Mexican flavors here are incredible, and everything is fresh! Our favorites are the salsa, tortillas, and queso. The staff is cheerful and friendly, making it a great place for families to enjoy a meal. Among all the Mexican restaurants in town, this one is the best choice for anyone who loves genuine Mexican cuisine.
