Shady Lady - Lower Hutt

Beautiful atmosphere, was served by a really happy bubbly bartender called tami. she beat a drink combo on the basis of what I was after, and it tasted absolutely delicious.

We went to Shady Lady after our cocktail making class at Vinyl Bar and it was so cute, staff were very lovely and seemed happy to be there. The outdoor area is really nice and cozy. Loved the caravan inside as it added an extra fun element to the bar, homely almost. Will be coming back for sure. Thanks guys!!!

Live band caught my attention. Offered a free shot on arrival which pulled us in. Really chilled little bar, can seem a little cramped. Has some great decorations and a caravan inside. Awesome service and good vibes...

Drinks are so watered down it all tasted like juice, they didn't even taste any good. It also takes forever to get your drinks, not to mention the food, it took an hour to get our curly fries. One of the staff were also really rude, when we asked about our food they said we need to wait and kicked my friend’s chair. Would've given 1 star but the bar tender was kind and professional when we complained about the rude staff. Never going back there again, waste of money and time.

I always watch the bartenders make my drinks, and lucky I did last night because I payed for 2 vodka oranges and I literally seen the lady poor water from the drink guns into my drink and topped it up with orange juice tried to tell me that she poured vodka in my drink! She did remake it, because I refused to take it! I wasn’t that drunk but If you want to refuse service that is fine but don’t rob me of my money and try to give me water and orange juice.. I definitely understood why this place is called shady lady
