La Bella Italia - Lower Hutt

A few years back, I had the most amazing pizza, pasta, and delicious flat white at this restaurant. The experience was so memorable that it motivated me to write this review in hindsight.

I went to this restaurant for a Valentine's Eve dinner. Despite being fully booked, they were able to accommodate me. The service was excellent, and I was informed about the specials and given honest recommendations. The restaurant is set up like a traditional Italian warehouse, and the hospitality of the owner and staff showed me how seriously Italians take their food. I ordered the truffle ravioli and tiramisu, both of which were absolutely delicious. I will definitely be returning when I am in Wellington again.

This restaurant in Petone is definitely the best place for dinner! It has a charming Italian marketplace ambiance and even sells produce. We enjoyed the pumpkin ravioli and seafood risotto, along with olives and bruschetta to start. Everything was perfect and incredibly tasty! The authentic Italian flavors transported me back to a summer in Italy. The customer service was also excellent. They offer a tempting selection of desserts that I can't wait to try next time. Don't pass up on this restaurant!

This place is an Italian gem, I loved it here. We were welcomed by the owner who is so passionate about his food. I told him I have been dying to try his pizzas. <br/ <br/ Sooooooo worth it, OMG authentic beautiful pizzas. I loved every bite, delicious and moreish. If I lived in Wellington this would be my go to place for pizza. Then to top off an amazing meal we ended on their famous tiramisu mmmmm so good!

This is the best Italian restaurant in the Wellington region. The food is so authentic, just like what I had in Italy. The pizzas are amazing. I love how this restaurant is also a shop.
