Thirsty First - Lowell

Great bar in Downtown Lowell also has some really good music!!! Love the atmosphere as you can be either inside or outside on the patio area.

Bad. Just what I can say to describe this place. At 9 the vibe were all right, but the problem was the homeless, there were like 5 or 6 walking around the Panhandling area, some were smashed out. Nobody did anything to get them out and they broke my date. Then the cops called the sober house that was built, and before these drugstores come on bicycles again and again. Just save your time and don't go. 10 %

Rude staff, really bad beer and cocktails (the whisky sour was laughable), and pretty dirty. It looks like it's a cool meeting place for students.

Had a great time the first night I went. I went back again the next night, and was told I wasn't welcome there, and that I accused the bartender of being in the KKK over the phone after closing??? Not really sure what kind of stunt this is, as I was polite during my time there and even left a descent tip for someone handling all that chaos by herself. I don't know...

Okay....came here for a change of pace. Definitely not the place for a 65 yo. However, food and beer selection were both very good. Minimum food selection, but what a surprise. Burgers were great, fries were a surprise and onion rings were superb. Service is a little strange as you go to the bar and order and watch for your own stuff to come out of kitchen. Weird, but hey....clean, music was loud but not overwhelming. I'd send the kids back and I'd come back if it was closer or I was in the neighborhood.
