If the owner of the establishment had approached us in a more polite and humane way and said that we should and would be charged for an extra rotation due to the situation, we would have paid for another rotation without any problem. I believe this is the best way to approach a client, at least this is the way I treat mine. Which in the end we did on our own since we did not and would never act in bad faith. Oh, and we weren't embarrassed because we were doing something wrong, just like you said because we weren't stealing anything and we were as a family, celebrating a moment! You ruined our lunch because of the way you approached us. If the whole problem was one or two pieces of meat, you would charge us. That simple. But look, I wish you the best, see.
Worst experience ever and it was not first time. They forgot to deliver my food and I hope I will get my money back at least.
Unpleasant experience, I was a customer of the place, but today, 07/21/2024, I had a very shameful and unpleasant experience on the part of the owner of the place, we went for lunch as a family, I had a carvery and my children and wife weighed in, my wife took a piece of meat from my plate and the owner of the restaurant came out of the kitchen shouting that my wife couldn't take the meat from the plate, I went to her after the incident and I still didn't know that she was the OWNER of the restaurant, when I approached her and I told her that the situation was unpleasant and that I would feel very comfortable paying her another rotation, but that I wouldn't need to go through the situation, she told me that she was the owner of the restaurant and that she had already gone through similar things with other Brazilians, I told her that this was not my case and even so she continued to speak loudly and in any case, putting herself as a giant for being the OWNER of the restaurant, I made a point of leaving there and paid her 2 rotations because I saw that her need It's big, a very unnecessary situation but as she said several times, she is the OWNER of the restaurant, a big hug and she lost a good customer and I certainly don't recommend the place to friends and acquaintances! As I said before, we did not act in bad faith as you said, and the OWNER of the restaurant was lacking respect, she was very arrogant and uneducated. I hope you learn to treat customers, because you need them, but I will continue not to recommend you, because here you are acting in bad faith, saying that she was not disrespectful! At no point did she go to the table to offer another rotation, she just shouted from the corridor, and as she said, there are cameras there, I can prove what I'm saying with the images you have! The owner of the restaurant is the lowest level of management that I ever met. Because a piece, a single piece of meat, she made us go through a ridiculous situation. For context of the situation, my dad had a plate with meat and my mom wanted to try a single piece of the steak, but the owner came to our table and was extremely rude, literally coming behind my mom and screaming at her for taking a piece of his steak. Making my mom feel out of place, extremely uncomfortable. As an owner of a restaurant, she should know how to treat costumers and how to at least talk with them. I hope nobody else go through that and I hope that this person, can at least learn how to manage, how to treat others in special costumers. My appetite was gone and I never felt so embarrassed like today. You should never, never treat others like a piece of garbage. If that is your Bussiness and carries your “name” on it, you should at least make it look decent.
Great food. Very helpful employees. Overall, pretty wonderful first experience. We had rotisserie pineapple and sirloi and some rice, to go for $11.99 per pound lunch special.
