The restaurant sells fish by the pound, but they don’t actually weigh it; they just make an estimate, and I suspect they’re overcharging customers. I decided to let it slide at the time. The grease tasted old, and I regretted every bite of the clam strips I ordered. While the fish was cooked perfectly, it lacked flavor. The prices are quite high, with fish baskets costing around $15.
Fantastic choice in Lowell! The food is genuinely delicious and reasonably priced. Located just outside downtown, it's super convenient. I highly recommend it to anyone craving seafood. We ordered the daily special, which was cod, along with a variety of sides: clam strips, jalapeño poppers, and hush puppies. Everything was really tasty and not greasy at all. I didn't take any pictures this time, as we were too hungry!
Excellent service and delicious food! Everything was served quickly as well. I can't wait to visit again!
Disappointed. I will start there. We decided to try the place because, overall, it was highly rated and we were in the mood for fried fish. We made the 30 minute trek to this place and we ate there. We ordered the 1/2 lb fish, 1/2 lb fries combo and also tried the fried mushrooms. None of the choices were good. The fish was overcooked and very dry. It seemed rather expensive as well. The two combos, mushrooms and two cans of Coke were nearly $40. The cost being the only thing remarkable about the meal. Review rounded up from 2.5
