Garden Ice Cafe de Lourdes

Worst food I think we have ever had. What a shame as it looks nice and new and smart inside. Took the menu 19€ the risotto came out Luke warm, and the rice was hard. I had the roast guinnea fowl which was over cooked, dry, hard and not warm, might have gotten away with it if it had some hot sauce or gravy. My husband had the magret, which came out half over cooked and half under cooked and cold! My son had burger with chips, the chips were lovely and hand made, but the burger came out under cooked to what was asked, but his meal was the best. Unfortunately we couldn't stomach it and left half way through our meal. The service by our waiter on the other hand was hard to fault. It cost us 50€ we certainly won't be eating here again. What a waste of my birthday money :(

I am really pleased to write a review about the Garden Ice Café in Lourdes, the café is quite frankly the best place in Lourdes. The atmosphere is great, the staff are friendly and helpful.My partner and I often visit the Garden Ice Café when we are in Lourdes, the food is fantastic and well presented. We are vegetarian, there is not much selection but there is enough.Drinks are cheap and in the evening they give you free nibbles with your drinks (we had nachos and dips, we have seen little sandwiches and olives too).They do entertainment on Fridays and Saturdays.Very gay and lesbian friendly.Food served until Midnight!

I wouldn't have thought this was a Burger King from the outsideThis Burger King is very old school compared to the rest of the burger kings in Hilo.

The staff used to be good here but idk if it's new management these past few years or what, but things have really gone downhill.

We were there on Monday evening. The original plan was to have dinner at somewhere else. But as someone who don't know how the customs in France (?), we were disappointed that a lot of restaurants were close on Monday.So, there we were. Entered the place with no expectation. They have some TVs or screen to show it.The music/DVD were playing was from Joe Cocker live concert 1992 -forget where was it-. What a nice atmosphere it made. After a long journey the day beofre, and some activities at the Sanctuary, we felt comfortable. Especially when the food came. It was absolutely fantastic. We can't speak france, and I forgot to bring my dictionary (haha) but seems we didn't have any misunderstanding about anything. We left happy and full. :)
