So glad we found this restaurant while visiting Vilamoura. It’s just away from the marina which makes it so much cheaper. I had the crepe with chicken mushrooms and hubby went for Francesinha Especial. Both were very tasty. With 2 beers each it came to less than 30€
Just a street away from the marina and you actually feel you are in a traditional Portugueses cafe rather than the more modern fare on the marina. Cafe con leche and pastel de nafta was excellent and staff and prices excellent.
A really great place to visit for casual meal great food. We've had golden bream salmon which were fab, then another visit could not resist the crepes
This restaurant has very much a cafe style frontage. Inside are pleasant dining areas with comfy seating and scenic windows, and spotlessly clean. The restaurant is family owned and operated,we were served by a lovely young lady who took very good care of us.They are open for snacks, meals and drinks for a large part of the day. The menu offered tous for both of our evening meals gave a varied choice and a good selection of fresh fish grills. The starters and main course are cooked to order so are very tasty when they arrive; family fresh cooking at its best. A selection of Portugese wines added to the experience. A mix of sweets and cakes was available, followed by coffees and Portugese brandy to round the evening off; altogether exceptionally good value. Having tried various restaurants on the Marina Parade the real quality cooking was here in the Petunia. Well done guys.
