V-grits - Louisville

Incredible staff and even more incredible food! I've been vegan since 2008 and have dined at vegan restaurants all over the country. I've also been preparing my own vegan dishes at home for quite some time. Honestly, some of the best vegan comfort food I've ever tasted has come from V-Grits! Everything they create is fantastic. Don't just take my word for it – stop reading and go try their food!

Tonight, I finally had my highly anticipated first experience at VGrits. Although I'm not vegan yet, I must say, you might want to pull out your cookbook! The meal was outstanding, and the food was seasoned to perfection. My dining companions and I enjoyed lively conversation. Overall, it was a fantastic first experience with a full-course vegan meal. I also enjoyed the Elixir Kombucha! Goodnight!

By far the best vegan food I've ever had. My husband and I have had the veggie burger, mac cheese, veggie dog, chili mac, hot brown, mozzarella cashew cheese, and mild cheddar cashew cheese. We recommend V-grits to everyone!

Literally just took my last bite of the country fried steak sandwich. It was so good I wanted to flip a table over and scream at a baby.

Since finding out about these guys, I've been a huge fan. Most recently though I used V-grits special Thanksgiving catering menu when hosting my family and it was beyond incredible! She had everything for us ready to pop in the oven and/or just simply set out from a delicious Thanksgiving loaf, to macaroni my family never knew was vegan to the best tasting bourbon balls I've ever had! I hope they do something similar for Christmas : Would highly recommend trying V-grits whenever you have a chance!
