The Eagle - Louisville

Made a reservation at 6pm to eat at this location. Had a 4 year old with me. The hostess attempted to sit us at a high top bar which had a clear edge where stuff could fall and the small child could also. I pointed to an empty table and the hostess said it was reserved for someone with a reservation. We also had a reservation, but that clearly didn’t matter. There were two empty booths at the back that were also available that they didn’t offer to let us sit. What’s the point of a reservation if you are not going to honor them? And who sits a tiny 4 year old at a high top? When I told them no I didn’t want to sit there the hostess looked confused. Zero professionalism or good customer service. Never going here again until they fix their customer service. If you can’t handle the amount of people who make reservations then fix your system.

Consistently prepared, delicious eating, very friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient service, fun atmosphere.

The best fried chicken, cornbread, Mac n cheese I’ve ever had. Beer prices were low too. Highly recommend.

Food is great but service is questionable. The wait for food is long regardless of the amount of people. Felt like our waitress avoided us because she didn’t want to explain the reasons for the long wait. Even just to get drinks (non—alcoholic) took over 10 minutes. All in all, the fried chicken is great and side dishes are delicious.

Everything was delicious and service was awesome. Thank you, we will be back!
