Steak 'n Shake - Louisville

My children and husband really love the burgers and chicken strips here. The sides of cheese fries and shakes are also fantastic. I usually order the kids' grilled cheese, which is a good size for the price, and it comes with a small soda and fries. The service might take a little longer than typical "fast food," but the wait is definitely worth it.

I was thrilled to see the place open again! I love the new design with the order kiosks and the numbered seating. I ordered the Nutella milkshake, and it was served to me quickly in a chilled glass! My garlic burger was spot on, and my fries arrived just after that. Everything was fast and easy – a much smoother process overall!

We went through the drive-thru and ordered steak burgers and shakes. The shakes were enjoyable, but the burgers were nearly inedible due to the stale, almost moldy buns. The burgers were so overcooked that they resembled thin layers of charcoal. It was quite unappetizing. Our one and only visit to Steak and Shake was more than enough!
