Shiraz Mediterranean Grill - Louisville

This restaurant is situated on a hillside among a cluster of small businesses, so be sure to look up or you might miss it. If you enjoy Mediterranean cuisine, this is definitely a hidden gem worth discovering. I ordered the lamb chops and paired them with a Greek salad that included lamb. I was not disappointed at all, even though I thought the price was a bit high. I will definitely be coming back for this dish, and I’m sure you’ll love it too!

During my work trip to Louisville, my coworkers recommended this restaurant when they learned I was Persian. I ended up visiting three times during my stay because the food was simply outstanding. The yogurt sauce and tahdig were exactly what I was craving! It had been a long time since I had bread tahdig, and when I mentioned how much I missed it, they graciously gave me a little extra. The owner was incredibly friendly and welcoming. I will definitely make a point to stop by again on my next visit to the hotel.

I've always had a fondness for this restaurant because of its quick service and delicious food. Today, I enjoyed the chicken kebab with white rice and corn, along with the Shiraz rolls. Everything was fresh and tasty, and it was quite filling. The restaurant was clean, and the atmosphere was lovely and relaxed. To really top off the meal, be sure to try the baklava—it's absolutely perfect!

Amazing food and service!!! I had never eaten there before but they are always super busy. So I figured that it would be a good place to eat. My online order was routed to the wrong store And it was very much out of my way. The woman that answered the phone offered to cancel the order and refund the money. Then I went ahead online at the time because There was an issue with the phones so I couldn't get through. I ordered again. The online system took my money but Shiraz never received my order. the owner called me and he called the store nearest to me to fulfill my order. He even threw in extra food. It was amazing!!! Fast forward a few days and I never received my refund from the first time. I called the owner and he had a gift certificate waiting for me when I got to the store and of course we ate again that day and was not disappointed that time either. The portions are definitely better than most. It is a little pricey. Definitely visit you won't regret it!

Today I enjoyed one of my favorite foods at one of my favorite restaurants. Family owned!! Locally owned!! I appreciate the staff and their welcoming home away from home atmosphere. Thank you for the great service and food, chicken kabobs and rice. Family loved it. Will try the ground beef kabobs and grilled salmon next time.
