Samurai Sushi Hibachi - Louisville

The food was outstanding, and the service was satisfactory. The restaurant seemed a bit slow, probably because they were short-staffed, but overall, the hibachi experience was fantastic! I would certainly come back!

We dine here frequently and always have a wonderful experience. The owner is incredibly kind and accommodating to her patrons. There was an incident where a woman and her daughter arrived early, just like us. Even though there was only one chef and we had already placed our orders (with seven of us in total), the owner offered them the option to wait for the next hibachi session (which would take about 30 minutes) or to sit at the table next to us, to shield the daughter from some inappropriate language from a nearby group. The kitchen expedited their food preparations so that our chef could handle everything smoothly. Their meals were ready, and you would think everyone would be pleased. Unfortunately, the customer felt overlooked and left in frustration. It all comes down to perspective, I guess. Overall, this place is fantastic, and even with the main chef out recovering from a stroke, the owner did her best to accommodate everyone. Come and see for yourself! You never know what challenges others, including the restaurant staff, might be facing.
