Angilo's Pizza - Louisville

I'm 57 years old now, and I always make it a priority to visit Angelo’s every time I'm in town. I grew up in Louisville, and while trips to Berry Blvd originally meant stopping at White Castle, that changed once we discovered Angelo’s. You can always tell a great restaurant by the long walk you have to take to the door, especially when you see so many policemen and firemen enjoying their lunch inside. Although I don't get to Louisville very often anymore, my high school 40th reunion in September will definitely take me back to Angelo's, if not sooner. Keep up the great work!

My mom and I have been customers for ten years, but the quality of the food has really declined. Every time we order, whether dining in or taking out, the steak hoagies are overcooked and dry. Even the french fries are poorly cooked. Unfortunately, we’ve decided to take our business elsewhere. The management is lacking as well; if you have inexperienced staff running the restaurant, it reflects poorly on the business.

Angilo's is undoubtedly the best pizza place in town. They also offer fantastic sandwiches. I've been dining here since childhood and have never had a bad experience!

As someone who is originally from Louisville, I have a solid understanding of what makes great pizza, especially when it comes to Angilos. They truly are the best. Although I haven't had their pizza in 40 years—my last visit was in 1978—I still find myself raving about it. I think it's time to plan a day trip back to my hometown to enjoy some delicious pizza from Angilos on Berry Blvd once again.

This restaurant has been around since my childhood, and their pie was truly something special back then. Even with a few changes in ownership over the years, they've managed to preserve the unique quality of their pizza. They offer a diverse menu filled with delicious options, all of which are great. The staff is friendly and welcoming. I'm glad to see that the new owners respect the Angilo's tradition and, dare I say, have actually improved the experience even further.
