The restaurant was very quaint with an authentic welcoming vibe to a very diverse group of diners on this day. I really enjoyed the Injera bread (I think that?s how it?s spelled) served with and under our meal. Though there was only one server working several tables and takeout, he was very efficient and attentive.
This is one of the best experiences I had in a long time. This is a restaurant that you need to go.. I mean, you don't have to be as expensive as you think to experience a true Ethiopian lunch or dinner, all food is full and fat and I love all the vegan options they had.. The service was tip, she was so nice and answers all the questions we had to get the best she could. The restaurant is small, but clean and the coffee ceremony is amazing and so strong the bold taste was sooo good and I was not willing how wonderful I would love this. This is a must and the price is so worth that I can experience it, please go.
The food was really good. A friend and I have the veggie lunch for 2 and were not disappointed. Baklava for Dessert was amazing and the coffee was delicious. The service was also good.
Took a group of teenagers for a different experience. Arefaine Reda Michael took fantastic care of us. Suggested family style platter and we experienced a little bit of everything. He did the coffee ceremony for us and we loved the experience. The incense smell with the coffee was Amazing! Who knew that coffee and popcorn go together?!? The best baklava I have ever had. Reasonably priced and definitely would go again. Even the teenagers enjoyed the food!
From my Ethiopian friend: the potatoes could use more flavor. In general, the food can use more flavor. The place was good, but a little show on service in the beginning. Nice folks, though. Happy new year. ?
