Great home cooked food. Cafeteria style or order off the menu. Everything was delicious. Very clean.

Real food here. Daily specials are on the blackboard and they have menu items too. The fried chicken was done just right. Only negative here is Faux News on the tv with the volume up. Otherwise yes this is the place to bring people from out of town.

First time stopping in could be overwhelming, before you get seated you go up and get your food. I recommend getting what's on the “line” for the day. It works like a cafeteria. Choose from a couple of meat options and many sides. Then pay, get your drink, and seat yourself. The chicken fried steak was phenomenal! The mac n cheese and cucumber salad were just as good, if not better than the chicken fried steak. If I wasn't just passing through I'd be a regular.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Walked in, went up to register and was absolutely ignored by both employees who then proceeded to take the orders of the gentlemen behind me. Chivalry is dead at this joint. And to think I backtracked on my trip to Texas for this place. SMH.
