We had booked a double room for 3 nights. We were very satisfied: the room was sufficiently large, the bathroom unusually large with window. Large selection in the minibar, also snacks and a kettle with instant coffee and tea, was refilled daily. Our room was on the 3rd floor and was bright. We could not understand the criticisms which we had read in the reviews before our arrival at the hotel. The repeatedly criticized stairs from the main road up to the hotel is ultimately a approx. 70 m long, small alley with a total of 12 very shallow steps, which are completely unproblematic to manage even with luggage. The bathroom was in contrast to the criticism equipped with shower gel, shampoo and soap, there were even 3 towel sizes for each person. In addition, slippers were ready. You can see signs of wear on some of the furniture, but it didn't bother us in any way. The cleanliness was perfect. It was quiet, although there were other guests in the hotel. We found the helpfulness and friendliness of the staff particularly positive, problems were solved immediately. In addition, the selection at the breakfast buffet was unusually large. A pancake machine should be mentioned as a special feature, but also a juicer, next to which was a selection of vegetables, for making vegetable juices. The only thing is that the price of accommodation is comparatively too high for this hotel category, it can be assumed that this is due to the good location of the hotel (about 10 to 15 minutes walk to the Vatican, less than 10 min to Castel Sant'Angelo). The only thing is that the overnight price for this hotel category is comparatively too high; it can be assumed that this is due to the hotel's good location (approx. 10 to 15 minutes walk to the Vatican, less than 10 minutes to Castel Sant'Angelo). Overall, a highly recommended hotel, we would book it again.

A nice little hotel with ample parking and simple but very clean rooms. The hotel staff is very kind and accommodating. I had a lovely stay that I will always remember.
