Palapa Joe's - Los Ingenios

They serve good burgers, I had the blue cheese one. Great service and blues nights. And probably other music too.

At first the female musician was far from it. No pleasant experience. Secondly, the food delivery was so slow that we stopped our order after we waited for 1.5 hours. We returned for another attempt and could be served within 30 minutes. The food was average.

Hoped the Chinese chicken salad would be better, but was ok. The tortilla soup was ok. Friday nites the old timers play fun old rock and roll songs. Small dance floor. Seems like a place for everybody to convene and they like that a lot.

Consistent really good pizzas and great drinks. Best of all is the nightly entertainment always live and not too loud.

We went by this place on the inland side of the main drag several times and ate there once because a friend of our friends was performing. The bar was crowded for sure and short-staffed in the kitchen but not the bar. Food was the standard fare with nothing to rave about and drinks were more expensive than on the beachfront! Another night we looked in the door to see what was happening and found the place place empty and ready to close at 8.30pm. Yet another night as we passed found a gray bearded guitarist serenading a dance floor of aged North Americans propping each other up. A real old folks home.
