The food is delectable (except for the basic smoked bangus pasta and vegetable shawarma) and reasonably priced. Cafe Angelica is located beside the highway, making it accessible and easy to find. It’s also an ideal venue for small gatherings.
Staff is not friendly only when we gave tip. Good food but takes too long to arrive. great place.
Saw Cafe Angelica after dropping by Meralco. The place looked nice and quaint. Decided to drop in since I haven't eaten anything yet and it was almost lunch time. Ordered a frappe and their meatlovers pizza. The frappe was nice. It had a nice taste to it, possibly from the sweetener used. Muscovado perhaps? The cinnamon was also a nice touch. The pizza, however, was horrible. Who uses tart dough as a pizza crust? The masticated crust, along with the sour sauce, feels horrible once it envelops the insides of the mouth. The sourness of the sauce makes it worse once that crust starts sticking to the roof of the mouth. Not only that, there seemed to be a space requirement for the meat. It was few and far between. The meat used was probably meat meant for sisig with some sort of ham or salami in between. You get more meat on a regular 3M pizza compared to this and this costs 3-4 times as much. Experimenting with ingredients is good only if it works. This obviously doesn't. My advice? Ditch the tart dough and go traditional. Also, try to add more meat to it, 2x or 3x what was in there and with a bit more variety. There are other ways to stand out and offer a unique product on the menu. This isn't the wrong one. Right now, the meatlovers pizza should be avoided at all cost.
Today, they just updated their menu and introduced several new food choices! Sisig, Bicol Express, bagoong rice, Tokwa, and sushi to name a few. It goes without saying that all dishes were delicious. MASARAP. Additionally, I fell inlove with Buko Pandan infused water. The most refreshing drink I've tasted this year. I simply love this place.
The events place of this Cafe is very nice for intimate celebrations such as birthdays, child dedication and even a wedding.
