I 'm bummed out. The 'Pop Factory ' might not be what you expect.After receiving countless digital ads to 'Pop Yourself, ' I thought it would be a fun anniversary gift to my wife if I were to surprise her with custom POPs of our whole family! : After going online to customize them, I held off on ordering after seeing photos on store reviews and social media that when buying them at the Hollywood store, they come in a different box... gold in color with 'SE Hollywood ' branding. Since we JUST moved to LA, I thought the 'Hollywood ' on the box would be a GREAT way to also commemorate our cross country move this year!I went in the middle of the week, at 2pm to try and avoid the crowds. Highly recommended The store is crazy fun to walk around, the staff was very attentive and helpful at the Pop Factory and walking the store.Now onto the POP Factory. I was lucky to find all options and accessories for my wife 's character available. But they were out of stock on some options for mine, most importantly obvoius the brown beard. Since I didn 't have time to come back before my anniversary, I asked if I could order it now, and come back to pick it up the beard piece later.. or come back and buy just the beard on its own but was told that 's not an option. Beard or no beard, I could deal, and still went ahead with the purchase.It wasn 't until I went to pick them up at the counter that REALLY bummed me out. Come to find out, they don 't come in the gold SE Hollywood box anymore! The entire reason I held off and went to the store to buy them! Instead they came in the same regular blue 01 box that you get online. No mention, branding, or even a sticker to signify Hollywood souvenir. DOH! : They 're still cool... but not as cool as I had originally hoped. : I should have just purchased it online. At least then I wouldn 't have to shave off my beard!Moral of the story, if that 's all your going for just buy them online. More in stock pieces, no traffic, no parking, no lines to get in, and you 'll still get the SAME Pop and packaging. No difference. :

For just $25, I was able to customize a Funko Pop to my liking, adding a personal touch that made it even more special. The fact that they offer this option at such an affordable price is truly remarkable.All in all, my experience at Funko Pop Hollywood was unforgettable. My kids loved it. So many funko pops to take pics with. We went on Sat at 11am and there was no line. We parked in a public parking lot really close to the store and paid $25 for 2 hrs. In the future we will park on the street and arrive earlier to not spend that much on parking. Manager Shane was very helpful when I had an exchange because my son wanted something different. Will definitely be coming back.
