People complain too much for me lol if the potatoes taste bland to me I put hot sauce on it salt and pepper and call it a day, pancakes are great, breakfast burrito is awesome. Overall this place is a great breakfast spotFood: 5/5
To be clear the 3 star is for the terrible potatoes and blonde woman who was our original server and to busy chatting with the other woman at the desk to pay attention to her customers. This should not reflect their whole staff. A couple of the other servers specifically a gentleman with red hair and beard were amazing! However until he came to check in I was growing frustrated by the fact that are waitress (a blonde woman with a couple of tattooes) was irritated that we missed the qr code sign and had to get us a menu. The menu was so small even when I could see I wouldn't have been able to read it. Then she never checked back in with us after taking our order. My coffee cup sat empty for almost the rest of the meal even after bringing it to the busboys attention to yell our non existent waitress. Also for the owner. If you are going to offer home style potatoes make sure they are cooked and if a customer asks for them well done it should be an option. I would not return. Please see the pictures of the uncooked potatoes attached. As well as the replacement hash browns and their horribly aggressive front door sign.Parking: Parking spots are barely big enough for a fiat
Came to Jacks N Joe for breakfast. I ordered an Adams N Fig omelet, which turned out to be super good! The hash browns, on the other hand, were so-so, kind of below average. If they had been seasoned, I would have called them average. Coffee was great! Atmosphere was quiet and comfortable and the service was fabulous! I would be willing to give it another try.
I love Jacks n’ Joe, it had been a while since the last time I came but the food is still as good as the last time I was here. Which would be about 4 years ago. One of the best breakfast spots in LA. I highly recommend their bacon. Its nice and crispy but chewy at the same time. Their pancakes are so good and it’s a must try when visiting. I love their bacon pancakes. The parking does suck and the wait times can get long especially if you don’t come early. But no matter what I still will come because their food is that good and trumps the issues that I have with the location. A must try!!!
