Gorditos - Los Angeles

My go to place for high end but fast Mexican in the Valley. High quality ingredients, very simple portions, friendly staff and clean environment.

I wasn't even hungry when I came to Gorditos. But, I ate all of my food because it was so good. They charge fast food prices for fresh, high quality ingredients. I ordered tacos with a side of Spanish rice. The carne asada was delicious. It was fresh, juicy, and easy to chew. It's hard to find carne asada that isn't overcooked snd dry. The carnitas were also delicious, tender, and not greasy. The lettuce, tomatoes, and cheese were fresh. I also liked my rice. They also offer white rice. I also really liked the customer service.

I've never so emphatically hit no tip when ordering. Place was completely empty. Guy preparing was young but had the speed and understanding of someone in their 90's with a broken hip. Food was cold, rice wasn't cooked through. Overpriced and bland flavor. Just go to chipotle.

Food wasn't so great. Very similar to Chipotle and overpriced. More meat should be served in the serving without the up charge. Good environment to eat your food but will not be going back, thank you.

Please save your money and never come here. the food is legit gas station food presented in chipotle fashion. The steak had no flavor whatsoever and i can’t believe they charge extra for veggies. Ownership needs to fix what they’re doing because it’s clearly not working and I should’ve listened to the reviews.The reviews have gotten so bad they’re even offering $500 sweepstake for writing a positive review.AND I ALMOST FORGOT, COULD YOU PLEASE DO SOMETHING ABOUT THE TRASHBAGS I THREW AWAY MY BURRITO AND IT SMELLED LIKE A PORTA POTTY.
