El Pollo Loco - Los Angeles

This Polo Loco on Alvarado just north of Macarthur Park is one of those rare fast food finds where the food is surprising fresh and delicious, and the service is a friendly and accommodating 10/10 every time. It might not be a 'flagship ' location, but it should be. Corporate, take notice, you 've got a low key winner here.. (I must gush: the chicken is so dog gone good!!!! It 's been part of my extended dinner rotation for over 6 years now. I salute you!

I 'll have to flesh this review out later but for now, just wanna say, this modest little spot is a 'fast food ' (tastes like home cooking) diamond in the ruff. Cheers!

Its sad to hear that the guy with the tattoos doesn’t work here anymore. He was so kind, charming, and funny. Great customer service. Always made my visits a delight. Great food too. Would highly recommend.

Great food!! Great service, and great drinks. The only downside, parking kind of sucks unless you were lucky like me to find parking in the front.
