I did find the BBQ sauce served with the ribs to be a bit too sharp for my taste, but it was still quite good. Additionally, I think the outdoor tables could use a bit of rearranging to enhance the atmosphere. I've visited this restaurant with a friend before and returned last night with another friend. We both enjoyed our time there and would definitely go back again.
I'm so glad I stopped by after seeing the pictures on Google Maps while searching for a place to eat. I couldn't finish my meal, but I really wanted to savor the flavors, and I wasn't disappointed at all!
The brisket burrito and brisket quesadilla are absolutely delicious, especially when paired with the green sauce and a little bit of sour cream. And I can't even begin to describe how amazing the ranch dip and chicken fingers are!
As a Texan, I was excited to discover a restaurant that serves the high-quality BBQ I've been longing for. The ribs and brisket were expertly seasoned, tender, and lean—definitely deserving of a five-star rating. While the slaw was decent, the beans were excessively salty and spicy. Additionally, I was disappointed to see the use of Styrofoam and plastic, especially when there are so many eco-friendly alternatives available today.
I have to say, this place has absolutely incredible BBQ brisket breakfast tacos. I usually don’t write reviews, but I had to share my experience with this spot. The brisket is spot on, which is hard to find in California. The smoky flavor, the tenderness of the meat, and the delicious bark on the outside truly highlight the quality of the BBQ. Wrapped in a homemade tortilla, paired with perfectly cooked eggs, zesty cheese, and spicy salsa, this taco is hands down the best breakfast taco in LA. And the best part? They’re only five bucks! You can’t even get a gallon of gas for that, and this is way more satisfying. I can’t wait to try everything else on their menu!
