Cetrella Los Altos

We had a fantastic experience, as always! Although we were seated next to a large group, which made it a bit louder than usual, it did not diminish the quality of our wonderful meal and exceptional service. I highly recommend it!

Cetrella is a phenomenal restaurant. The menu is both unique and inspiring, offering something special for every palate. The owner and his staff are friendly and engaging, making you feel right at home. Their attention to detail is impressive and consistent. I usually prefer to order dishes "on the side" because I’m not a fan of heavy sauces, excessive garlic, or too much salt. However, at Cetrella, I always feel comfortable ordering "as is" and I've never been let down. Each visit is a remarkable experience. Whether it’s for a special occasion or just to celebrate life, this is definitely the place to be.

Our waiter was friendly and knowledgeable, answering all my questions about the menu since I follow a gluten-free diet and helping us understand some unfamiliar ingredients. I ordered the salmon, and with the first bite, it literally melted in my mouth—I've never experienced that with salmon before. It was so delicious that I had to go home and search how to achieve such a melt-in-your-mouth texture. I also tried the roasted carrots, and the generous portion was almost a meal on its own! Unlike the common sweet preparation, these were savory, seasoned with spices and topped with walnuts, which was a delightful change. My husband had the short ribs, which were tender, flavorful, and generously portioned. As we were leaving, a staff member ran after us holding up a hand lotion dispenser I had accidentally dropped under the table—now that’s what I call going the extra mile! We left feeling very happy to have discovered a new favorite spot. I give this restaurant an A+ for service, ambiance, and food! It’s definitely worth the 30-minute drive!

Food was very good. Fennel salad and lobster tail/pasta dish. Service good and attentive. However table was in front next to a group of noisy diners. Would have been better to be seated in the quieter rear.
