Hopia Like It Kalesa Grill

Nice little bakery with hot dishes as well. The Lechon Kawali was very good, and the Lumpia were divine!

They opened the door for us a few minutes before their 11am opening. That was very nice of them especially when we were visiting from out of town. We were able to eat their hopia while they were freshly cooked and warm! I tried the Nutella hopia first. WOW! It was gooey on the inside and crispy and flakey on the outside! I loved it so much! I desperately want to go back but we only visit SO. CAL once a year.

I have never had palabok as good as the one they make at this restaurant.

I decided to stop at Hopia on a whim, never having heard of it before. What a tasty surprise! With limited time for lunch during the workday, I was impressed by how quickly my all-day breakfast was served. The staff was friendly, and the prices were reasonable. I will definitely be returning for the Bangsilog Plate!

I had never tried hopia before, so I can't make a comparison, but I absolutely loved the flavor of these pastries. They had just the right amount of filling and the staff was very friendly.
