Guy Fieri's Playa del Carmen

We ate here a year ago service was wonderful not so great this time. sad to say our waiter was not very friendly at all, took for ever to bring our drinks every time even though it was very quiet there and was quite abrupt. the vulcano chicken was excessively salted and not very well we left it in our plate. the burger was amazing how the müll was afteros, as we remembered. house band was great. we will be back next year, but hopefully with new waiting staff. we visited the Cancun location this trip. service was amazing there as always, but the burgers have won again in playa!

Amazing if you’re looking for that style of dinner/location. A bit Hard Rock Cafe-ish. Recommend making a reservation for after 8:30 as the live band comes on around then. A lot more lively, but also a lot more crowded when that happens. Service slows down a bit then too. We ordered one app and one entree with two drinks each and it was about $75 USD. Good, not great value. Right in the heart of 5th ave, it’s extremely lively and energetic. Again, if you’re looking for that type of vibe, this is a great option.

This is basically Chili’s with a celebrity theme. I realized my mistake as soon as we arrived. This place is not “good” in any sense of the word... that is, unless you’re a huge fan of Guy Fieri. If you too realize your mistake after arriving, just leave and walk a block or two down the pedestrian path until you find someplace better.
