Millie's Cafe - Los Alamitos

The pastry was very good. I wish they weren't introducing rose wines as orange though. Probably my favorite restaurant in LA.

My wife and I came here for my wife's birthday and it was one of the best meals we have had. The food was absolutely perfect and incredibly flavorful. The staff was extremely polite, modified menu items the way we wanted them and the food showed up quickly too. All in all a fantastic restaurant and I would make another trip to LA just to come back to Elf. Highly recommend this restaurant!

This place is truly a gem. We ordered takeout last night and the food was better than ever. Elf gem salad perfection, and they could’ve fooled me with the vegan feta. Risotto with mushroom “pancetta” incredibly delicious and comforting. Halloumi cheese w kale So. Good. Chocolate mouse w coconut cream paired with a glass of red wine after those entrees, *chefs kiss* Absolutely love this place, please support if you can. It was the first nice restaurant we ate at when we moved here two years ago, and would be devastated if they didn’t make it through these tough times.

Absolutely amazing gem of a restaurant! Very cozy, romantic spot (with a few celebrity sightings if that means anything to you) that is highly recommended. DELICIOUS all vegetarian and vegan friendly fares. Staff was incredibly kind and thoughtful, cant wait to go back. One of the best restaurants in LA!

ELF returns, after a pandemic that cost a lot to a many restaurants and ELF was no exception.. A noticeable absence for what was for a long time what some had proclaimed to be the best vegetarian restaurant in town. Today ELF has grown, changed, evolved towards beautiful things, less vegetarian, or not just only. Delicious cheeses, anchovy candies, cuisine that speaks French, Italian, but above all that speaks to the heart, to comfort and with flawless sourcing. I was able to get a taste of few dishes that day: a perfect cheese plate, a polenta with accents from Marrakech with lamb merguez ragoût, and a brandade of smoked trout, an absolute « Proust madeleine » for me, a south of France native near Nîmes, country of the brandade (and the denim aka jeans) excellence down to the wine list whose staff knows every corner of it. An absolute pleasure to share Elf with others, or to keep secret for yourself!..
