Poutine Your Mouth - Lopez Island

It's different. It's delicious. It's food with personality. For a remote island, we should consider ourselves pretty lucky that this is a part of it. My finicky tween wanted no part of it and then he tried it and now he craves it.

The staff at this restaurant is incredible, as is the food! The dishes are made with delicious locally sourced ingredients and are beautifully presented by friendly staff. Jen and her team are a true asset to Lopez Island.

Whenever we go to this restaurant, we always have an amazing meal. The vegan options are done perfectly and they do a great job accommodating dietary needs. Just thinking about it makes me crave more. I have to go now.

Unless the staff know you, don 't expect anything more than average. Service is slow. One order of poutine took 20 minutes to make for no reason as orders that came after were made first. The amount of fries varies from order to order. One order of fries had a half serving and they were clearly leftover. The drinks are also hit or miss. The staff is super lazy or super laid back . I can 't tell which.

The crab sandwich!!!! We hunted this food truck down on a recommendation from our friend when visiting Lopez. We loved it so much we stopped by again on our way to the ferry out of town. The crew working is super friendly and kind and all the food is delicious. We tried the crab sandwich, the mushroom melt, and the poutine. Would recommend everything.
