My hubby and I were so pleased to find a better place with 2chefs to cook our meal here. We are down to earth and local but really happy to find this gem is not just your ordinary bar and grill. Yummiest food and pleasant atmosphere. The wait staff is attentive. We are definitely happy to find that this unassuming little restaurant serves quality, not just quantity. We’ll be back!! Tucked away in Loon Lake city is a family-friendly food-gem oasis with culinary-trained father son chefs, powered by local farm to table food and beverages. The restaurant occupies a 100+ year old building with a full bar, billiards and sports games on TVs in the lower level. Besides a delicious elk burger, the chicken tortilla soup was loaded with chicken, and the citrus cake topped off the meal in style. Stellar service from Ku’ulei who makes you feel seen and welcomed. We brought home to-go frozen Thai coconut, and Kimchi soups. And yes, they make their own kimchi! I’m now a fan of this hearty and talented restaurant with big, complex flavors and moderate prices.
