Mr. Pickle's Sandwich Shop - Loomis

I’ve been visiting Mr. Pickles for 25 years now. The original location on the peninsula was just a bike ride from my house. Now I live in Loomis, and it’s still just a short bike ride away. The salami and tails on a sourdough roll with everything is absolutely the best!

Today, I biked from Folsom to Loomis and back, and I found myself feeling hungry. I stopped at Mr. Pickles' sandwich shop in Loomis. When it was my turn to pay, I realized I had forgotten to bring any money with me. To my surprise, the owner kindly offered me the sandwich anyway, saying, "No problem, just enjoy it." I was truly touched by his generosity, but I insisted that I would pay him back. It’s important to support our local businesses whenever possible. I really appreciate the kindness of the owner, and if you’re ever in Loomis, I highly recommend stopping by Mr. Pickles for the best sandwich in town. I really dislike writing negative reviews, but I must express my disappointment. I've had wonderful experiences here in the past, but today was not one of those days. I ordered a Big Jake without avocado, hoping for the usual quality. I requested mayo, mustard, cream cheese, pepper jack cheese, turkey, tomatoes, and a side of cranberry sauce. When I got home, I found there was no mayo or mustard, barely any cream cheese, and they had put the cranberry sauce directly on the sandwich. Furthermore, one half of the sandwich had the correct amount of turkey, while the other half had hardly any at all. You can clearly see the difference in the two pictures I took. If you're pregnant and craving your favorite meal, it's incredibly disappointing when your order isn't right! I was really looking forward to this because not all sandwich shops offer cream cheese and cranberry sauce. Next time, I’ll make sure to check my order before leaving.

This is a real local jewel that produces large sandwiches in a friendly and efficient environment. We are irresistible for their delicious lunch treats. Especially beautiful are their offers and procedures for allergy customers!

First time eating here and the sandwiches were so good! My meatball sandwich on sweet bread was delicious. My BFs looked so packed full of meat. The staff was really friendly and efficient. Will definitely be back!
